dialog() asia

From August 9 to 12, 2024, an exhibition titled "dialog() asia" was held at space EDGE in Shibuya, Tokyo. This exhibition connected four cities—Tokyo, Taipei, Seoul, and Beijing—and showcased works by artists from across Asia.

The exhibition aimed to explore the diversity of urban and cultural experiences through generative digital art. Artists were selected from each city, presenting works that reflected their regional characteristics and technical approaches. The venue featured dynamic and evolving visuals primarily through video and installation works, offering visitors a novel visual experience.

"dialog() asia" served as a platform to promote artistic exchange among Asian cities and to demonstrate the potential of generative art. By bringing together works from artists with diverse cultural backgrounds, the exhibition facilitated creative dialogue beyond regional boundaries.
