From July 18 to October 31, 2025, Okazz's screen work "Ephemeral Shapes" was exhibited on the LED cube at Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C.
The work draws inspiration from the streetscape of Futako-Tamagawa, expressing the coexistence of the geometric beauty of rigid straight lines and squares with the vitality of natural, supple circles and semicircles. It features simple shapes that appear and disappear with a light rhythm and approachable colors, creating a positive impression for viewers.
Okazz is a Japanese generative artist and creative coder known for works created using p5.js. Influenced by Japanese anime and manga subculture, Okazz has also developed character-based projects such as KUMALEON. "Ephemeral Shapes" visualizes the appeal of Futako-Tamagawa by lightly connecting contrasting elements such as urban and natural, order and organicity through generative art.
