From July 19 to September 15, 2025, the LED Cube at Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C. hosted the video work "Hikari no Matiere" by Toshiki Okamoto. This piece aims to depict summer light in various forms through imagery resembling paintings created with light.

Toshiki Okamoto, a video artist and programmer, approaches video not merely as visual information but as phenomena interacting with space and the body. For this work, he stayed in the Futako-Tamagawa area, observing the interplay of sky, greenery, earth, buildings, and houses reflected on the Tama River's surface. Drawing from this urban-natural environment, the work constructs a visual space that evokes a comfortable and quiet time.

The LED Cube served as a setting to delicately express the texture and changes of light amid the proliferation of digital signage in the city. The video presents diverse expressions of summer light, offering viewers an experience of tranquil moments hidden within the urban landscape.
