On September 27 and 28, 2025, "Moon Art Night Shimokitazawa" was held at the plaza in front of Shimokitazawa Station. The event framed the city as a single living organism, focusing on expressing the latent vitality within it. Participating artists included media artist Akihiko Taniguchi and Asako Fujikura, known for her 3DCG animation works.
Akihiko Taniguchi has presented works across various formats such as media art, net art, and game art, while Asako Fujikura creates 3DCG animation pieces that highlight the infrastructure and depth of landscapes spanning urban and suburban areas. Their works depicted a cityscape where the boundary between living and non-living blurs, through images of artificial objects seemingly gaining agency and movement. The exhibition took place from evening into night, providing an experience of the city's vitality as a visual phenomenon.
