From April 3 to June 16, 2026, the LED Cube at Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C. hosted "Kaleidoscopic Flare," a generative art piece by seohyo. The work employs a Perlin noise algorithm to animate squares that organically move and infinitely multiply through repeated symmetrical patterns.

The piece utilizes the structural characteristics of a cube composed of four central faces, visually extending patterns from the center to two adjacent cubes. This extension creates a layered spatial experience, allowing viewers to feel as if they are peering inside a vast digital kaleidoscope. The trajectories of the squares continuously transform based on principles of symmetry, generating new forms moment by moment.

The algorithmic movement resonates with the dynamic flow of cities characterized by continuous change accompanied by chance. Within ordered mathematical rules, irregular shapes intertwine and reflect each other, producing unfamiliar beauty. This digital landscape offers a visual experience that transcends everyday boundaries and aims to leave a small artistic discovery within each viewer's mind.
